Had an excellent meal at @centricoanaheim last week! We tried several menu items and all were delicious. Especially loved the Quesapastor and the Mexican Street Corn. The Chicken Taquitos were also great and the burrito is giant. Also 5 stars for the chips and guac, but sadly no refills on chips! The wagyu burger was something else too! The patty was incredible, but the toppings do have a KICK. So if spicy jalapeño is your jam and you love a good burger, this is a must. As of our visit there was no formal dessert menu so we asked our server and they had a few options. She recommended the Guava Pavlova which was horchata foam with guava and mango purée filling topped with edible flowers. This was one of the most interesting desserts I’ve seen on property. Our server told us to crack it open with the spoon several times before eating to mix all of the flavors together. It was sweet & refreshing with a cinnamon hint in the horchata foam. Lots of texture, lots of flavor & very good. Céntrico is a welcome addition to DTD and I think a major upgrade from Uva Bar. Suffolk County police find the body of Melissa Molinari just off a dead-end road in Middle Island. The body was off of a trail, covered with leaves and branches, wrapped in plastic.
