It's time to head home....not before spending nearly ten hours exploring one of the world's best airports!! We have admired the Rain Vortex at the Jewel, walked around the Butterfly Garden in Terminal 3, had a quick look at the Cactus and Water Lily Gardens in Terminal 1, browsed a fraction of the vast amount of shops, and had some lunch at one of the seemingly infinite number of restaurants ✈️ We've not even visited the rooftop pool, watched a film at one of the cinemas or had a go on the world's tallest airport slide (is there much competition out there for this accolade?). Despite being one of the world's busiest airports, Changi is so spacious and pleasant. Pengalaman terbang dengan pesawat Embraer E190-E2 maskapai Scoot yang merupakan operator pertama E190-E2 di Asia Pacific, flight TR632 dari Singapura (SIN) ke Hat Yai (HDY) dengan pesawat beregistrasi 9V-THA yang baru di delivery pada April 2024 kemarin. Boarding dilakukan melalui Gate D34 yang berada dilantai dasar, kemudian menggunakan bis ke remote area. Sebuah pengalaman yang rare di Changi. Sayangnya tidak diizinkan mengambil gambar di apron saat turun bis & menaiki tangga ke pesawat. Pesawat ini memiliki 112 kursi penumpang dengan konfigurasi 2-2 all economy class dengan seat pitch 29 inch. Saya duduk di 6F (jendela) dengan pemandangan engine PW1900 dan sayap yang mirip sayap B777 versi mini. Saat take off terasa bahwa cabin lebih senyap, jendela juga cukup besar & yang pasti lebih irit bahan bakar. Rute awal Scoot E190-E2 ini antara lain Singapura ke Krabi, Hat Yai, Koh Samui, Miri, Sibu, dan Kuantan. Dipenerbangan ini saya memesan pre-booked meal Tuna & Cheese Croissant yang dilengkapi dengan brownies & pilihan minum air mineral atau cola. Saya sempat berbincang dengan Captain penerbangan dari Embraer - Brazil & mendapat kesempatan melihat kokpit setelah mendarat.
