Our prompt for day nine of the #IndieBookshopLife challenge is βDiary of a Booksellerβ. The diary of a bookseller is always crammed full of things to do β a lot of which goes on behind the scenes. Every year there are key dates for the team to work towards here at the Borzoi. World Book Day in March is huge and Easter is a lot of fun. As we draw closer to summer, our attention turns to Independent Bookshop Week (less than two weeks to go β canβt wait!) and, as Autumn draws near we prepare for the Chipping Campden Literary festival. Last but not least, Christmas basically starts in October! Thereβs a huge build up to the end of the year and booksellers everywhere are frantic throughout the whole of the last quarter.
