Il profumo dei fichi per me è uno di questi e mi riporta all' infanzia. Dove ora ho il ricovero per le oche c'era una casetta di sasso distrutta. Dietro di essa un vecchio e super arrugginito rastrello trainato con il suo sellino bucato dove io mi sedevo sempre per giocare. E lì, a poca distanza, il grande vecchio fico lungo la stradina che portava alla vigna. Quanti frutti ho mangiato da quell'albero! E che profumo in queste giornate di settembre! Ora non c'è più il rudere, non c'è più la vigna, non c'è più quella stradina, ma ci sono io..che sono sempre quella tipa di 30 anni fa.. e ovviamente un altro fico sempre generoso di frutti. Profondamente grata per tutto questo. Da sempre e per sempre. 🙏 Un altro profumo che mi porta indietro nel tempo è quello dell'albicocca, ma questa è un'altra storia. Il vostro qual è? 🤗

I have been developing this painting in the past seven years at first it was one comet flying through the space and the whole painting was black and white, with small sporadic red galaxies because they’re red shift it and they’re flying away from us. And little tiny blue galaxies because they are “blueshifted” and they’re flying towards us. The comet was all white as it appears on the sky. But recently I decided to make it two comets which are colliding as if it was “a man and a woman falling in love” 😱 and of course there are many hidden messages everywhere, as I love to do 😎 In English and other languages. This is one of the highlights of a period I had in 2015 when I was experimenting with spray paint and stencils. I made my own stencils and I purchased very expensive acrylic spray paint made in Germany. I had 80 colors in spray cans and I took my older paintings, that I was unhappy with, and I applied my new stencil ideas 😱….what came out of it are those kind of paintings that make me think about a very happy places like a garden.
