Happy Spring! 🪴🌷🍄This is the beginning of allergy AND flea & tick season🤪! While Apple Cider Vinegar is amazing and has loads of uses, my favorite is as a non-toxic flea & tick repellent. Simply fill a spray bottle with 1/2 organic apple cider vinegar and 1/2 water solution: bring 1 pint of water to a boil. Add lemon slices, and sprigs of fresh rosemary. Turn off heat, cover and let mixture steep overnight. Strain water into the remaining 1/2 of your spray bottle. Add a few drops of Lavendar essential oil. Spray on your pet before heading outdoors. Spray generously on their behind/potty area😻Do not spray directly on your pet’s face and be very careful not to get near their eyes. This works great for killing ants/insects in your home and on outdoor lawns and plants. It’s SAFE, INEXPENSIVE, and best of all: NON-TOXIC. ☠️. You’ll never forget the first time you brought your fur baby home💙 . . . It was the week of Thanksgiving and I called a breeder who had a Pug litter for sale. My now husband (boyfriend at the time) and I were most interested in a black pug. Breeder only had one black male pug available but she wasn’t set on selling him yet and was considering keeping him and his brother (2 black males). She said if she changed her mind, she would give me a call. Black pugs are harder to find so I was disappointed a bit. After a busy few days, we were just finishing up having Thanksgiving Dinner and I get a phone call from her. She said she would be interested in selling him and she is in a town (closer to me), I agreed hubby and I could come pick up the puppy that night! I was honest with her that we had no puppy food, no collar/leash, etc. and everything was closed because of the holiday. She said she would give me everything I needed to get through the next few days. Holding “Buddy” who is now “Tucker” at 13 weeks old, made my heart skip a beat. He was the sweetest little boy and we knew he was meant to be a part of our family right away. The rest is history🫶🏼
