Behind-the-scenes post Iβm pulling the curtain back today to show you what I've been working on lately! Iβve been updating some of the labels on my Aura Sprays. You will notice in particular that the images have changed. What started off originally as a collection of 10 fragrances based around the chakra system, has now grown into a wonderful collection of 55+ fragrances. Some have stayed the same from the beginning, like SOUL SONG & HEART SONG and some have been tweaked along the way - I stopped using endangered Rosewood in Earth Magic and replaced it with Howood instead. I now use Australian Sandalwood instead of Indian, as the high demand both inside India and increasingly throughout the world, the species became threatened. My signature fragrances are created with prized natural ingredients to ensure they are eco-friendly, premium quality and as ethically sourced as possible. Other oils at risk are Frankincense and Cedarwood - all make amazing essential oils, but not worth purchasing at the cost of species. Thatβs why I only use essential oils that have been sustainably produced and ethically sourced. I make a conscious choice to tread gently on this earth in all I do. Weβre told by big hard-selling essential oil companies that βTherapeutic gradeβ essential oils are the bestβ But I donβt agree with this at all. Therapeutic grade is a made-up βmarketingβ term to sway you into buying an essential oil from that particular supplier, to make it sound more efficacious. All essential oils have therapeutic properties. There is no βgoverning bodyβ that has sanctioned this term for the efficacy of an essential oil.
