Eng/Ru • It is amusing that one and the same negative, or rather, its scan, being inverted with different combinations of color and tonal settings, gives so much difference in the color rendering of the resulting positive images! The film's color rendering certainly plays a role, but all subsequent processes affect the final result strongly as well. Here, I used two different software products to reverse the negative: Filmlab v3.0 and Camera Raw/Adobe Lightroom. In the first case, relying more on built-in presets and adjustments, and in the second, setting the sliders and curves manually, trying to get an approximately identical result. Which is still different anyway. By default, this difference in the various software work-on results is cardinal. The photo: a look at the wall of the Topkapi Palace complex from Gulhane Park. • Интересно, как из одного и тоже негатива, а точнее, его скана, различные комбинации цветовых и тональных настроек рождают разные по цветопередаче позитивы. Собственная цветопередача фотопленки, безусловно, играет роль, но на конечный результат влияют и все последующие процессы.
