Sad to hear one my brother's and mine all time favourite (alto)sax players #DavidSandborn passed away yesterday. One of the first musicians and bands we ever saw at the #NorthSeaJazzFestival and in the heart since then. Got the chance to see him in 1984, and in 2009 at the NSJF,ánd the Wilhelmina bar in Eindhoven. Amazing. I appreciate he did jazz things but also played on many pop-artist's albums I like to enjoy (like the #beegees #Nena #RogerWaters #AlJarreau #JamesTaylor etc).
