Sunny Hills es una tienda de pasteles de piña 🍍diseñada por el renombrado arquitecto Kengo Kuma y es una obra maestra de la construcción en madera. Ubicada en el barrio de Aoyama (Tokio), su exterior está formado por un intrincado enrejado tridimensional de listones de madera, inspirado en la técnica tradicional japonesa jiigoku-gumi. Esta técnica permite que los tablones se entrelacen sin necesidad de pegamentos o clavos, creando una estructura autoportante y rígida. 🪵Con ángulos de 30º en cada junta, el resultado es una nube de madera que aporta una atmósfera cálida y abierta, desafiando el concepto de la caja minimalista.
