Also at the time of Schwartz's hire, his company #guidepostsolutions had several contracts with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which is partially appointed by Cuomo. The Port Authority contracts were awarded while Cuomo had been governor. In December 2016 it was learned that the contract to hire Schwartz, between Cuomo & Guidepost, had never been approved. Section 112 of the State Finance Law says that the #comptroller must sign a state contract before it can "be executed or become effective". Cuomo broke the law! But nothing to see here folks.
