Hard to believe he has been gone 27 years. Today, I am trying to focus on happy times, happy memories with my Dad. And there was no place in the world where he was happier than at Lake Geneva. Many thanks to @jmacfuss for these photos. Although grainy, they are the only ones I have of him swimming in the lake. Even when he would take us on after-dinner boat rides to swim off the boat, he was always responsible for the boat and didnโt join us in the water. Side note: these photos were taken even before we owned our house, when we rented a house in Glenwood Springs for part of the summer. Indeed, the year @theresenoa and #briannotoninsta were my neighbors, many years before I ever met them. About the band: NON FICTION Rising from the ashes of the band HADES, Non-Fiction was formed in '89 with guitarist Dan Lorenzo wanting to go into a slightly different direction. The band's sound retained some of the Hades style and energy, but leaned more into a slower, heavier, and dirtier direction.
