Member profile! Conceptus founder and artistic director, Scott Robert Shaw (@the_englishtenor) grew up in Perth, Western Australia, where he sang as a boy soprano in the St George’s Cathedral choir. From there began a long and winding road where he studied acting and singing in Sydney, worked in publishing and music in London, studied and worked as a singer in The Netherlands, and finally settled in Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany. He released his first solo album “The English Tenor” in 2023 with @divineartrecordingsgroup and will record his second in the coming year. He has a slightly worrying addiction to cheese, and has been obsessed with cricket since childhood.
