Miranda Grasso's "Museo Stibbert" Museum Branding Project | Graphic Design Studio with prof. Laura Ottina | MA in Graphic Design, 1st Semester | Fall 2023 || The assignment was to chose an museum suitable for re-branding. Miranda chose to create a new identity for the Museo Stibbert, a museum including a vast collection of armour located slightly outside the city center. She noticed the current lacking sense of cohesion and managed to overcome the issue by emphasizing the characteristics of courage, status, protection, and glory. Тому варто поставитись до цього питання з усією відповідальністю. Подумай про свою ідею і про емоції, які хочеш передати. Правильний вибір паперу допоможе зробити проєкт точним до задуму і зручним у користуванні. Поверхня паперу може бути гладкою або шорсткою. Її вибір впливає на тактильні відчуття. Від складу паперу і довжини волокон залежить, наскільки він буде прозорим і міцним, а також як довго прослужить, наприклад, книжка, зроблена з нього. Щільність і пухкість визначають вагу і товщину паперу, а відтак й вагу і товщину майбутнього виробу. Напрям волокон варто враховувати при друці книжки: він має бути обов'язково паралельним корінцю. Білий колір паперу також буває різний: холодний і теплий. Його білизна має свою градацію. Правильно вибраний колір, з якого читатиме людина, зробить процес читання приємним і невтомливим. Крейдування допоможе надрукувати якісне повноколірне детальоване зображення. OZ Principal, Senior Interior Designer, and CSU Alumna Tracy Boyer delivered the keynote speech last week at the IAD Senior Show. Congratulations to the graduating Interior Architecture and Interior Design students, who capped off the semester by showcasing their spectacular, human-centered designs! Tracy's work often highlights and is enhanced by human interactions, social well-being, trauma-based design, and programming with equity at the forefront. As an alumnus of the program and partner at OZ, she was a perfect fit to celebrate the student work at the 2024 IAD Senior Show. Thirty-five projects, completed by 50 different students, were selected for the 2023-2024 awards out of more than 140 nominations spanning the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. Estefany Justiniano's Easy Chair Design | Furniture Design with Prof. Leonardo Rossano | BA in Design, 4th semester | Fall 2023 || For her Easy chair design, Estefany drew inspiration from the elegant curves and organic geometry of seashells. The shell shaped form embraces the user in a cocoon-like way. Through a series of sketches and clay models, she has developed a chair which evokes a sense of security and calm, nurturing a sense of peace and connection with the natural world.
