In very much the vein of cases like the Zodiac and Son of Sam, today's case involves a masked (?) gunman who hunted down people parked in their cars at night and shot them dead. Hello, hello and welcome to another #CrimeDive Today, we'll be diving into the case of the Dardeen Family, who were all brutally murdered. Elaine Dardeen was pregnant when she was killed and, unfortunately, her premature baby, who was born as she was killed, was also murdered. This case was cold for over a decade before infamous serial killer, Tommy Lynn Sells, confessed to the crime. However, there are some who think he is not the real killer and that the real killer has never been identified. Today's case leaves a real question mark on whether or not it's been solved. Tommy was never charged or prosecuted for the murders and he was executed in 2014 in Texas. Hello and happy spoooooky season!👻 Today's case was one that was suggested to my dad by an employee at a shop he frequents. Today, we'll be talking about the unsolved, still active case regarding the disappearance of Logan Schiendelman, who was just 19 when he vanished. What makes this case even more tragic is that Logan was going through a wee bit of a difficult time when he disappeared. Logan is biracial with his father being Saudi Arabian and his mother being biracial herself (she is half white and half Black). It was around the general time he disappeared, that Logan was questioning his race, his ethnicity; his whole identity really. You see, Logan's father was not a part of his life and the Black side of his mother's family was also not in his life, leaving Logan to be primarily raised by the white side of his family, in a predominately white town. And as Logan got older and really started experiencing racism, he began to question his background. Logan upped and disappeared one morning after talking to his grandmother about an "epiphany" he had. She didn't get the chance for him to elaborate what he meant because she had to go to work at that moment but she promised they'd sit down and talk that evening after they both got home. Unfortunately, she never got that chance; this would be the last conversation she would have with her grandson. Logan disappeared shortly after this. It's a really sad one today, sadder still that this case is still unsolved. There's been no sign or trace of Logan in 7 years, leading to a lot of theories as to what could have possibly happened to him. Omg, I can't believe I was able to edit and upload this week's video! Hola! Soooo sorry part 3 is late by a couple of days. It has been nonstop emotional and mental stress on my end. First, we had our senior cat have dental surgery, then we got our husky, Vex, but then our black cat, Erza, did not take too well to the dog, so she stopped coming out from under the bed, she made herself constipated, and she was over grooming herself, she was so stressed out. Fortunately, we were able to get a metal gate with a cat door to separate the house, so everything seems to be ok for now and Erza is back to normal, thankfully. Anyway, let's get on to part 3 of The Moody Massacre! In part 3, we'll start really looking at the evidence the Logan County Sheriff's Office collected that, they say, points to Scott being the shooter. Another police chief in Logan County, Ron Murray, went to the Moody's, explaining to them why he believed Scott was not the shooter. It's pretty compelling stuff! We'll also discuss the further victimization of poor Stacy at the hands of the lead detective on the case, Jon Stout. It's pretty gross, intense stuff, so be forewarned. And we'll end part 3 with Stout attempting to defend himself (and just wait until you hear this dude's actual quotes, it's unreal!). So sorry for not posting last week; Jeff and I adopted a one year old husky and I have wanted to do nothing else but spend time with her🥰🤗 She is the sweetest, most adorable pupper ever. We named her Vex and I'm already so in love❤💜💙🐶 Anyway, on to today's case, which unfortunately is not as pleasant to talk about. Today, we will be taking a deep dive look into the mysterious case of The Moody Massacre where 6 people were killed and 1 critically injured. According to authorities, the massacre was perpetrated by 18 year old Scott Moody who, they say, gunned down his grandparents, mother, girlfriend, and friend/fellow classmate before finally turning the gun on himself. There was only one survivor of the attack and that was Scott's 15 year old sister, Stacy, who miraculously survived her injuries. Even though this case is officially closed, there are many who question whether Scott really was the killer. There is a lot to get into with this case so today will be part 1 of a 4-part series we will be doing. Today, we will be going into all of the victims, including Scott, who they were, etc. before we get into the gruesome events of that day. Finally, we will end with the beginnings of the investigation as police begin interviewing those who had a close connection to the family/other victims involved and those who were at the home mere hours before Scott would allegedly murder 5 people. For the last case of the year, we're going to go over a pretty infamous case: The Cisco Bank Robbery of 1927. A group of robbers rushed into the First National Bank in Cisco, Texas and robbed it. The reason this case is so infamous though is a wild chase followed suit and the men ended up alluding capture for a week. Another reason why this case is remembered is because the gang leader, Marshall Ratliff, was dressed as Santa Claus when they robbed the bank. He thought this would aid him in disguising his identity, since Cisco was his hometown. It's truly an astonishing one today, so sit back and join me for the last case of 2022! Can't believe it's already the end of June!😦 And boy howdy do I have a huge case to end this month with! This is, by far, my longest video and the reason I got so sucked into the details of this case is due to the fact today's case took place in a town I lived in for several years, so it sort of hits different for me. Unfortunately, this case was very small-time news as far as media was concerned, so the info and photos were limited (there aren't even photos of one of the victims and literally only one of the other victim). A journalist heard about this case and, after years of painstaking research, wrote a book about it, which is why I have so much comprehensive info on the victims and the murderer. Happy June!! To kick off this month, we've got yet another serial killer case, however, this isn't your "typical" SK (really sucks there's even such a thing😪). Today, we're discussing the case of Howard Neal who murdered 5 people (that we know of) but it should be noted Howard did not receive an education, could not read or write, has an IQ between 54-60, is said to have the mental capacity of an 8 year old, and struggles with controlling his emotional outbursts. Yet, Howard was thrown into society at 18 years old with no family, no support, no education, and no training. It really is no wonder Howard turned into what he is. Today's case involves the son of a prominent, Academy-Award winning actress, Mercedes McCambridge (you may know her as the voice of Pazazu in The Exorcist). Her son, John Markle, ended up murdering his whole family, which consisted of his wife and 2 very young daughters, then killed himself. What makes this case extra creepy is, John donned a frightening, awful old man mask as he murdered his family. I truly appreciate it!!!!🙏🥰 Now on to today's case (and, yes, it is yet another serial killer case) which is the true crimes of Herbert Baumeister, who preyed and killed members of the gay community in Indianapolis. Herbert was gay himself, however, he was also a conservative, business-owning family man who had a wife and 3 children. And while they were away, Herbert took that time to prowl upon Indianapolis' gay community, particularly those who were more vulnerable, took them home, and strangled them. 11 bodies were found on Herbert's property. And we still don't know the extent of his crimes. There are some who think he is the I-70 strangler, which would up his body count into the 20s. It's a wild one today, so buckle up and join me as we dive into Herbert Baumeister.
