Once poured the head is thick and is here to stay. On the eye this is blue and thick. On the nose: lots of tropical notes such as pineapple is coming through with blue berries. Taste and mouth feel: There is an instant hit of pineapple with orange juice and blueberries, this has a slight fizz on the tongue. There is a slight metallic taste towards the end. Overall this is a fun beer with lots of juicy notes and is seriously good!! Is this as good as the last stoopid beer I don't think so but I would definitely have this again. I have always been a huge fan of FW's Union Jack IPA, Mind Haze, Hypnosis, and all their other offerings. So here it is, my take. Great bourbon nose, exactly what you would expect from hearing those words. Did I mention how much I love Goose Island Bourbon County @gooseisland Chocolate, cherry, leather, and tannins. Medium body, letting it come to room temp to see how it develops. It finishes dry. A little better warm, I want to love it, but something is missing. Maybe it wasn't a great year. @baron.brewing where's my sword, Pale In at 4.6%. This poured nicely into the glass with a decent head. On the eye this looks golden in colour with a nice haziness running the glass. On the nose- lots of fresh hops coming through with pineapple and mango. Taste and mouth feel- nice crisp with flavours of lots of tropical flavours coming though mostly pineapple with hints of other tropical flavours, slight bitterness towards the end. Overall- this is an amazing beer I could easily season on this.
