I present to you Sleepyhead and Short Stack. Sleepyhead is almost unkillable with his extra soft head, indestructible buns of steel and dedication to cardio! This was a drawing challenge I did with @travis_soderquist and I based it off of the show “Finding Bigfoot” on Animal Planet. Has anyone ever seen it? It is all parts frustrating, hilarious and slightly informative. If you haven’t seen it, this is kinda what happens. This group goes into a town, where they have a townhall meeting of sorts where locals tell about their Bigfoot sightings. Then the group, which consists of 4 individuals goes out at night into the woods (because Bigfoot is nocturnal of course) and they bring high tech equipment to try to catch an image of Bigfoot. They split up into 2 groups of 2 each and camp out around the area of the sightings. They make professional Bigfoot calls (which is a high pitched scream) and sometimes they do catch an answering call from far away. Now, I know it’s (probably) not real, but they claim to catch a glimpse of Bigfoot or get some evidence, but amazingly enough they can never get an image of him with all that dang high tech equipment. It’s very frustrating to me, because I wanna SEE BIGFOOT. Idk if the show is still on, but I stopped watching it a long time ago. I LOVE this comic/cartoon/show for The Tick. I’ve watched everything they’ve put out and read most of the comics as well. The humor is just SO witty, especially in the comic. I don’t draw many dragons, which is why this was such a good drawing challenge about a year or so ago. I put alot of thought into this tho, and here is what I came up with… It’s called an Eastern Lava Belly dragon. It sleeps on the side of volcanoes by using the tiny spikes on its stomach to cling to the side. It has a hard armor on its back the color of volcanic glass, and has a fiery pattern on its underside. It can either blend in and surprise attack, but is also strong enough to attack directly. I liked this one so much, that we made it into a sticker too. This was one of the toughest ones for me, as I could not settle on a pose for Soawn. First I had him crouching on the tombstone but it didn’t feel right.
