I’ve been working on this painting for a while… slowly but surely. The first image is where I stopped today, the lighter version is an earlier stage in the process. Weekend projects 🙂 Project 1: I wanted to display my text books from college and grad school, but hate how much space they take and how heavy they are. I also didn’t want to just get rid of them since I put a lot of sweat, tears, and money into them for so long…and they are 20 years old, so nowhere to really donate them. I piled them up, took a picture, and printed it on a nice canvas. Task complete. 21km this morning after pulled my muscle few months ago. Not a very big crowd this morning. The race started with humid weather, only can feel the cooling breeze after few km. 5 water stations in total which is just nice but I personally prefer paper cups over small plastic bottle at water stations. Paper cups by the road side better than plastic bottle by the road side? Doing good at the first 10km but slow down the next 10km. Legs are good, just that stamina is not keeping up with me 🫠 or maybe because of the endless U-Turn that asking me to walk a little ? Here’s an update on my weight loss journey. From the day I decided to take my health serious to now. I’ve been working very hard since then and after losing most of the weight that I wanted. I started to incorporate lifting light weights to start toning. Noticed my glutes growing, noticed my back and legs toning. Loosing inches every where. Gained weight since I started lifting so now I don’t weight myself as often. I measure myself. Gained 12 pounds when I got hurt at work. Couldn’t do anything for 15weeks. Finally back doing my workouts, lots of cardio. Clean eating, sometimes it’s hard to stick to the diet but manage to do so. Our 3rd instalment of @teampurpose Purpose Fellowship Trail Run took place this morning with an encouraging turnout! We see new faces joining our monthly trail run in preparations for @buff_forestforce . . As we inched towards our December target distance of 25km, today’s run covered 13km of trails and PCNs. We ran part of the Buff’s race route to get ourselves familiar with the terrains. Clearly the rolling slopes and the 300m elevation gain did not break their spirits as they chatted about races they had signed up for, sharing valuable training strategies and cracking jokes along the way. . We finished the run in about 2hours (with plenty of photo stops of course) and the 2 lucky winners went home with race slots each!
