Blue Tiger Stripe 🇷🇸 • Depicted is a Blue Tiger Stripe summer uniform worn by the PJM (Posebne Jedinice Milicije, 1977-1997) and the PJP (Posebne Jedinice Policije, 1997-2001). • Special Police Units (i.e. the PJM and PJP) were utilized by the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) and by its successor, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY), as a militarized police force that specialized in counter-terrorism operations. Much like their Yugoslav Army (JNA) counterparts, the PJM and PJP were heavily armed and well equipped. In their final iteration, they would maintain eight “detachments” (~5000 officers in total) with seven in reserve status (~5,500 reserve officers in total). • With the break up of the SFRY, disorder and chaos ensued. PJM and PJP units would subsequently begin a very active involvement in the Yugoslav Wars (~1990-2001). The PJP was eventually disbanded in 2001 with the current Serbian Gendarmerie taking its place. • Largely produced by Svila Čelinac, Blue Tiger Stripe camouflage also saw service with the Bosnian-Serb Police (Republika Sprska), the Serbian Milicija Krajine (Republika Sprska Krajina), and then the aforementioned PJM/PJP. • Please note that the Titovka Cap is not accurate to this uniform. • This Zastava M72 was built by @m13industries with an all-matching @numrichgunparts parts kit on a milled @tortortmfg receiver. Bitka za Odžak (19. April – 25. Maj 1945.) je poslednja bitka Drugog svetskog rata u Evropi.Bitka je otpočela 19. aprila i trajala do 25. maja 1945, 17 dana nakon kraja rata u Evropi i kapitulacije Nemačke. Komandant partizanskih snaga bio je Miloš Zekić, a ustaške snage predvodio je Petar Rajkovačić. Bitka je završena ubedljivom pobedom jedinica NOVJ. Odžak je bio poslednje uporište ustaša na teritoriji Jugoslavije. Odžak se nalazi u ravničarskom dijelu Posavske doline južno od rijeke Save, današnja Bosna i Hercegovina. S istoka i sjevera okružuju ga sela koja su također u nizinskom dijelu, a sa zapada i juga sela koja su smještena na obroncima Vučjaka, u brdovitom dijelu općine. Bitka je rezultirala uništenjem ustaša kao učinkovite borbene snage. Partizani: 35.000 vojnika / 277 Poginulih / 815 Ranjenih / 59 Nestalih. It was also the first time that Bulgaria recognized ethnic Macedonians and the Macedonian language. Milovan Đilas (Podbišće 1911-1995 Beograd) je bio crnogorski socijalista , politički zatvorenik u obe Jugoslavije, učesnik Narodnooslobodilačke borbe, politički teoretičar i pisac. Đilas je tokom života menjao stavove, pa je od tvrdokornog boljševika, komuniste i revolucionara, nakon rata počeo da se izjašnjava kao demokratski socijalista.Takođe je menjao stavove o crnogorskoj samobitnosti — od zastupanja teze da su Crnogorci zasebna nacija, postala od Srba, do tvrdnje da Crnogorci čine sastavni deo srpske nacije. Iznenada je umro u svome stanu 20. 4. 1995. u Beogradu. Sahranjen je u porodičnoj grobnici u svome selu Podbišće. Milovan Đilas ( Podbišće 1911-1995 ) was a Montenegrin socialist , a political prisoner in both Yugoslavias (Monarchy era and SFRY era) , a participant in the National Liberation Struggle, a political theoretician and a writer. During his life, Đilas changed his views, so from a hard-line Bolshevik, communist and revolutionary, after the war he began to declare himself a democratic socialist. He also changed his views on Montenegrin identity — from advocating the thesis that Montenegrins became a separate nation, from Serbs, to asserting that Montenegrins are an integral part of the Serbian nation. He died suddenly in his apartment on April 20, 1995 in Belgrade. Aleksandar Leka Ranković. (Obrenovac 1909-1983). Bio je potpredsednik Jugoslavije, učesnik Narodnooslobodilačke borbe, društveno-politički radnik SFRJ i SR Srbije, junak socijalističkog rada i narodni heroj Jugoslavije. Najpoznatiji kao osnivač i šef OZNA-e, a kasnije UDBA-e. Smijenjen je na Brionskom plenumu 1966. i izbačen iz SKJ. Po formiranju Odseka za zaštitu naroda (OZNA) na Visu, 13. maja 1944. godine, postavljen je za načelnika OZNE za Jugoslaviju. Na zasedanju Velike antifašističke skupštine narodnog oslobođenja Srbije, novembra 1944. godine u Beogradu, izabran je za narodnog poslanika i za prvog potpredsednika Narodne skupštine NR Srbije prvog i drugog saziva. Kao prvi zamenik maršala Tita, u njegovom odsustvu izdao je naređenje za proboj Sremskog fronta 1945. godine. Posle donošenja ustava početkom 1946. godine, postao je ministar unutrašnjih poslova SFRJ. Ovu dužnost je vršio do januara 1953. godine, kada ga je zamenio Svetislav Stefanović Ćeća. Aleksandar Leka Ranković. (1909-1983). He was the vice-president of Yugoslavia, a participant in the National Liberation Struggle, a socio-political worker of the SFRY and SR Serbia, a hero of socialist work and a national hero of Yugoslavia. Best known as the founder and head of OZNA, and later UDBA. He was dismissed at the Brion plenum in 1966 and expelled from the SKJ. After the formation of the Department for the Protection of the People (OZNA) on Vis, on May 13, 1944, he was appointed as the head of the OZNA for Yugoslavia. At the session of the Great Anti-Fascist Assembly of the People's Liberation of Serbia, in November 1944 in Belgrade, he was elected as a deputy and first vice-president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia of the first and second convocations. As the first deputy of Marshal Tito, in his absence he issued the order for the breakthrough of the Srem Front in 1945. After the adoption of the constitution at the beginning of 1946, he became the Minister of the Interior of the SFRY.
