La contaminación por plásticos y la industria salmonera continúan siendo grandes amenazas para nuestras costas, sin embargo, también es importante reconocer los avances logrados en la protección marina, con más del 40% de nuestra Zona Económica Exclusiva bajo alguna figura de conservación. 🐙En ese sentido, las expediciones científicas han sido cruciales en estos esfuerzos de conservación, ya que la protección efectiva de nuestros mares depende del conocimiento y la investigación. Sin ciencia, no es posible entender la complejidad de los ecosistemas marinos ni desarrollar estrategias para su protección. 🐚"La conservación marina es una disciplina amplia que es abordada desde diferentes ocupaciones, especialidades, profesiones, y también desde el corazón.
