Ses propos dans #Libé l’autre jour m’ont parus plutôt libres et assez conscients, ceux d’un homme qui sait jouer entre le dit et le non-dit... Mais peut-être ne joue-t-il, au fond, que pour sa pomme ? L’adaptation de #LaHaine sous forme de comédie musicale, sujet de discorde amusant finalement, révélateur ou pas, ne prouve rien non plus tant qu’on ne l’a pas vu et entendu. Qui sait, la musique sera peut-être géniale ? #Kassovitz n’est pas #Kubrick dans son ambiguïté et mes questions sont plus d’ordre rhétoriques que sérieuses, tu le devines peut-être, cher Internaute. 📖💫 2001 - uma odisseia no espaço, é um clássico da ficção científica mundial e quem gosta do gênero já ouviu falar dele pelo menos uma vez na vida. aliás, ele foi escrito concomitante com a produção de um filme de mesmo nome. isto porque o kubrick procurou o arthur c. clarke pra escrever o roteiro do filme e o clarke gostou tanto da história que decidiu escrever um livro explorando e expandindo os temas que aparecem no clássico de 1968. . no caso, o livro traz a descoberta de um monólito misterioso que permeia a história da humanidade desde os primórdios. ao longo do texto, o autor propõe algumas discussões sobre o que tornaria o homem um ser humano como conhecemos hoje. seria a capacidade de comunicação? a consciência? se sim, os hominídeos dos primórdios da humanidade que são mostrados no começo da história poderiam ser considerados seres humanos? A Clockwork Orange: 📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀(8/10 discs) Stanley Kubrick’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’ is adapted from a novel by Anthony Burgess. to say this film is shocking for a major motion picture would be an understatement, especially for today’s culture. Released in 1971, no other director could have made this film. Not because it wouldn’t be possible, but no other studio would have let them with the subject matter and what was shown on film. For a first time viewer it’s downright terrifying seeing the joy the protagonist and his fan are having while causing such heinous crimes. After multiple viewings it’s not as terrifying but you definitely never change how terrible of a person our “hero” is. Themes in this film include some of the following. Is violence, hostility, and aggression that is portrayed in film and pop culture one of the cause of violence? Another one being what sort of life is worth living if you don’t have the freedom to be yourself? Like many Kubrick films the material is dark and never really answered, it is up for interpretation. The music made for the film and the excerpts used are top notch, hard to separate the scenes from the film, good and bad, upon hearing songs after seeing the movie. 2001 Space Odyssey 🧑🏻🚀🌕🚀 (1968) This movie has long been on my watch list and last night I finally checked it off. Alas, I am disappointed by it! It is absolutely visually stunning, I have rarely seen a movie so beautiful to observe. But….. with only 40 minutes of dialogue in a 2.5 hour long movie there simply isn’t enough plot to justify its run time. It is a vibe movie, as even Stanley Kubrick has said.
