My name is Destiny and I am a content creator. I just turned 24 years old last week! I have lived in Central Florida my entire life. My family has been here since the start of my town. I am a content creator on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Tik tok. I studied @ucf.edu as a full time first generation college student. I am apart of the @influencehercollective , @campustrendsetters , @wetheculture , @collectivevoicehq & a few more! I started creating content about 10 years ago on my cameras and then on my iPad. I’m a full time freelance creator now and it’s brought me so many opportunities! 🫶🏽
Social media is just an app on a phone at the end of the day and like everyone else I deal with reality outside of this app. I’ve struggled with mental health since I can remember and in the last few years a lot of things have happened. I got sick one day and never fully got better. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain since 2021 and a few auto immune diseases since 2017. The chronic pain/fatigue only exacerbated my mental health issues to a place where I was unrecognizable. I’ve been transparent about my health struggles and I never fully shared how bad it got for me. In the midst of my own health struggles, my Grandma was diagnosed with two kinds of cancer in 2022 a few months into testing for my own issues. She has been in on going treatment since her breast cancer surgery in April 2022 and will continue to for the next 10 years like many cancer survivors. I still don’t have actual answers to my health issues and have begun to seek help for my mental health issues. I’ve also been diagnosed with anxiety and depression (in a major funk rn send me some good vibes 🫶🏽) !! I never thought I’d make it to see 24 and I’m so glad I have been able to stick around this far!
