A peek at our homeschool week:
-L has been working on a toadstool hat made from cardboard, tin foil, and paper mache.
-We continued our study of the carnivore order.
-Lots of reading. L is currently working on Little House on the Banks of Plum Creek. Red is working on another Bob Book set. L and I are co-reading Percy Jackson book 4. And I have been reading some of the stories from the National Geographic Treasury of Greek Mythology aloud.
-We spent an afternoon studying local wildflowers with our homeschool co-op group.
-We practiced our outdoor cooking skills with our Barefoot University group.
-Took a short hike by the river with friends.
-We reviewed some of the math skills we learned this year.
-We learned about snail mouth parts.
-We found another little snake in the yard (nonvenomous) and learned some new tips for IDing snakes.
