To those of you young enough to not know what these little bits of plastic are, they are called ‘CD’s’ - it’s how we listened to music before the invention of Spotify.
To those of you old enough to know what they are, you’ll know how the sight of an old CD is like being transported back to a particular time of your life.
For us, these CDs represent a first taste of independence at sixth form and the transition to our first jobs.
Takes us back to Summers spent driving around in your own car. Meeting up with friends who would go on to become boyfriends, others who may go on to break your heart.
Reminders of our first experiences of a night out in town and bopping away in a club until the lights came on at 3am (and miraculously having the energy to do it all again the following evening!).
