From there, I carefully selected and invested in talented artists who showed great potential. Our first recording was "Lay It On The Line" (composed by Billy D'Allyn), which sparked obvious chemistry between the musicians. This led to more recordings, resulting in four completed songs and seven more ready for production. I was introduced to Mark Boals through a mutual acquaintance, and after working with him for a year, I can attest to his exceptional character traits such as talent, creativity, and sense of humor. Mark began singing at church as a child before gaining notoriety and launching his career alongside star guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen. He has since collaborated with numerous bands including Uli John Roth, Dokken, Ted Nugent along with having three solo albums and five Ring of Fire albums under his belt. His popularity extends worldwide especially throughout Japan and Europe while also boasting dedicated fans here in the USA. Mark is our lead singer on our project, RED RAVYN, where he agreed early this year to be our producer too. Guilherme Costa (“G”) caught my attention when I watched him interview Finnish keyboard player Christian Pulkkenen from Simulacrum on Rock Wave (Crash TV Brazil). Not only did Guilherme display versatility as an interviewer but also showcased impressive skills as a songwriter/guitarist along with being a music professor in Belo Horizonte Brazil where he hails from originally. Guilherme is known for being the youngest member of RED RAVYN while still holding onto his reputation as one “bad ass” guitarist who recently performed in tribute to metal pioneer Andre Matos from Brazil; ever since seeing his first rock band perform live he knew that's what he wanted to do!
