I cannot say enough GREAT things about Cooper Brown and One Above Entertainment! He came highly recommended from multiple venues. I looked him up and hoped he was available. He was very responsive and immediately scheduled a call to discuss all my questions and so we could get to know each other. From the first call, I knew Cooper was the one. I’m a professional event planner so I am very picky as to who I wanted at my wedding. Cooper had an amazing sheet we filled out. He was so thorough and made my wedding planning so much easier. He had suggestions that MADE our day like funny intros for our bridal party and what songs NOT to do. But still made it ours. I just absolutely adore Cooper. Day of he was there on time setting up and I didn’t have to worry about him for a second. He helped with the timeline of the wedding which was a huge relief. He also made us a custom “neon sign” projection that came out absolutely perfect. I highly recommend adding the uplights around the room that change colors with the music and the photo booth. Throughout the planning I was so worried about everyone having a good time and Cooper did me the biggest favor. He told me this is your wedding. You focus on having a good time yourself and I promise I’ll handle the rest. He kept that promise. "Choosing Cooper Brown to be my DJ made my wedding day absolutely amazing!!! My biggest dream for my wedding was that my guests would enjoy the dancing, and Cooper did such a great job at getting everyone on the dance floor and having a blast! It has been a month since my wedding, and I am still getting compliments all the time from guests saying, 'The dancing at your wedding was incredible, we had such a great time!' I would recommend this DJ to anyone!!! Cooper is very organized, and he will make sure the music and dancing on your day is perfect! His wedding planner spreadsheet that he works through with you allows you to have so much input into what exactly it is you want. Cooper is such an attentive listener, and he takes everything you want seriously. He is very professional in his communications with you, and he always returns your messages so promptly. He is so willing to let you make any decision you need to make your day great, but he is also there for feedback and to answer any questions that you have. If you love music (like I do!) he allows you to pick your playlists and create your dream wedding dance party. Meanwhile, he also gives fantastic input and recommendations. So alternatively if you do not know music as well and need a DJ that can create a good playlist for you (with your input of course!) he can do that as well. He is very experienced and knows what will work with crowds and what might not go as well. You can just tell by talking to him that this he knows what he is doing and is great at what he does. It's fun being my own boss because I get to choose what I want to do to move my career and businesses forward even if it’s silly things like this. The image I hope people have of me is that I'm a positive and talented DJ who loves having fun and finds incredible satisfaction in helping others to have a great time. I’ll never forget DJing Sarah & Mitch’s wedding @loghaven. Most of the guests flew in from out of state and were in shock at how beautiful the mountains were. The day was overcast with a perfectly mild temperature. We started with a gorgeous jewish ceremony outside and then made our way over to the tented patio area for dinner. . Mitch and Sarah gave a wonderful welcome speech after an epic grand entrance. I love MCing these grand entrances as it adds so much energy and excitement to the evening! . Once dinner was over we packed the dance floor and partied all night. It started to rain but that didn’t stop the celebration! At one point their friends and family lifted Sarah and Mitch high in the air while everyone surrounded them with dancing, shouts, and smiles. Now that is what a wedding should look like!
