Covering close to 3000 acres, the heritage-listed pine plantation of Pechey Forest is a captivating sight, standing tall along both sides of the New England Highway between 📍 Hampton and Crows Nest in the High Country Hamlets.⁠ ⁠ The plantation dates back to 1920 and holds many treasures of the past within it's branches including this now disused fire spotting tower.
