. . Did you know… —> Once little baby turtles hatch and get to the water…they don’t come out for about 20 years! What in the world! Friends, this is Oahu, Hawaii at Lanaikea Beach. The turtles are known to beach here and a volunteer is always close by to protect them. They know which turtle is which by the patterns on their face. Pretty cool huh?! When we arrived, no turtles had been sighted for two days. Ten minutes later, this one swam up. Now that is luck! One more crazy fact—> They can live up to 80 years! . . Los Cabos Amigos! . Are you interested in visiting Mexico!? . How about “Cabo”? Have you heard of this area? This is the tip of that long stretch of land on the west coast of Mexico. . This was our first time here and we’ll share what’s what for this area. . 🌵 “Los Cabos” refers to end of the 800 mile long Baja California Peninsula. 🌵 Los Cabo includes both “Cabo San Lucas” and “ San Jose del Cabo”. 🌵 These two parts of Los Cabo’s are about 20 miles apart. (You would most likely fly into San Jose.) 🌵Cabo San Lucas has more of a night life, tours and more of a touristy vibe. 🌵San Jose is more chill and a bit more authentic Mexico. . We stayed in San Jose and loved the vibe here. The downtown is so cute and on a Saturday night in the town Plaza Mijares, tons of locals were out with their families! . Another note—> In San Lucas, you’ll be dealing with locals trying to sell you something *constantly*! . . . Oldest Church in the US ✝️ . San Miguel Chapel dates back to 1610. It’s a 400 year old treasure right in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This church still is a place of worship and prayers as a Catholic chapel. It hosts mass both in Latin and in English every Sunday. . The bell tower along with it’s 780 pound bell fell in 1972 during a severe storm. The bell is on display inside the church and covered with metal charms.
