The meme that started it all for us. About 17 years ago, we came across this image on a random website. At that time, we were on Facebook and posted it there with a message that read, "What a cool concept, who's with me?" We had several people jokingly reply with, "Take me with you," and "I'll do it!" Or "Do It!" We laughed about it then, but now we think that all those comments from friends, family, and coworkers helped plant the seed. We still look at this meme from time to time and think how awesome it was to think about doing that. The ECM isn’t sending signal to the 85 pin on the fuel pump relay. I can jump the relay and I get 75# of pressure at the engine. Second I am getting power to the coil and the and the ignition control module but nothing spark from the coil. Third, it fails to communicate with the code reader. There is a bunch of new ignition parts and the crank and cam sensors are also new. I know new doesn’t always mean good. The only thing that is not new is the actual distributor. The next stop was the Coach Atlantic garage in Charlottetown. Coach Atlantic runs not only the intercity and charter services in the Maritimes but also T3 Transit. We were able to photograph some of the equipment from T3 Transit and some Maritime Bus units. There was also a demonstration unit from Prevost that was there at the time. The owner of Coach Atlantic, Mike Cassidy, has made it his own personal mission to make it so that the Maritime provinces have transportation between major hubs and the smaller communities in between, and despite a pandemic, he made sure that intercity travel was essential so that people could get to medical appointments and where they need to go. This was despite a lack of provincial funding which provided a challenge to Maritime Bus. Here is a demo of our Passive Passenger Compartmentalization System, or PPCS on the Next Generation MBX! We are the only manufacturer to offer such a system STANDARD on all models. This air bag set-up reduces the risks most believe seat belts solve. However, to encourage students to actually use seat belts is a challenge in itself. Thomas Built Saf-T-Liner C2 The Thomas C2 was based off of the Freightliner M2. The M2 is the commercial chassis truck that the nose of this bus is off of. This one is a short wheelbase model, which is a rare conversion. Normally, short busses are based off of cutaway vans like the ford econoline or Chevy express, but this one appears to be a full sized bus on a shortened frame, which is very unique.
