At the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling. Shanti Went on a great Birthday hike yesterday! We called it the Bushwhack, Black Fly Birthday Hike! The black flies and mosquitos were crazy, and we had to go off trail to avoid the mud pits…. But we had a fantastic day out in nature! Well Mawm did a thing….. today was the day. Mawm cut off her hair to donate to Angle Hair for Kids, an organization that graciously makes wigs for kids going through chemo. She tells me it happens every five years or so, and this is the fifth time! We barely recognized her when she came home…. 23” shorter!! We were all excited for the snow this morning.. so we suited up and went for an adventure! Sage has hurt her leg, so she has to stay off of it for a week… which is much harder to do than it seems. We didn’t want her to miss out today, so we pulled out our @k9sportsack and she was still able to fit! I know she would rather have been running around with JB, but I think she appreciated being out there with all of us! The snow was so beautiful and serene, we had the place to ourselves a true winter wonderland! Ever wonder where you’d end up if you took your dog for a walk and never once pulled back on the leash? Robert Brault Decided to take a dogs adventure today. We let JB and Sage decide at each turn which way we would go. We went to a provincial park we know very well… so that we could always easily find our way back. At each fork in the road, they both would look back at us and then when we didn’t guide them, they would choose a way. It was fun to just let them make up their own minds and see where we ended up.
