The Captain’s Charity for 2024 is The Leicestershire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre (LMTSC) which has been supporting people since 1985. It supports a wide range of conditions including COPD, Fibromyalgia, Parkinsons and Stroke patients. It also provides valuable treatment opportunities for people undergoing cancer treatments, diabetes and those suffering with bad bone breaks. Lloyd said ‘I’m a trustee and have been involved with the charity for several years. I volunteered to help out when a friend was diagnosed with MS in 2008. He initially received a lot of support from the Therapy Centre which enabled him to cope with the illness.
