The progress keeps on going💪💪 but, confession time: the only one I really enjoy from this face palette is the one that has progress😅 the middle one, though is made for paler people, looks straight up orange on my face and looks unnatural and artificial. I don't know how to use it to look better on me, and I'm tired of trying and looking like a clown. I don't think I'll touch it anymore. And the left one, even though the color should look fine on me, it is too bright and strong, and it's a pain in the ass to make it work. Yes, it's a franken blush, I should have thought better about what I was mixing in it, but the reality is that I don't enjoy it. A makeup basket of sorts. I pretty rarely post the full set of makeup I have 'out' and available for panning but I've really been enjoying my current set of panning and rotation items so I thought I'd take a picture of it all. It's 5 eyeshadow palettes (pan in every palette, battleship pans, and my PTP in a magnet palette along with some companion shades), one concealer and a couple DIY undereye concealer mixes, a peach corrector that goes into one of those mixes, a few blushes in beat around the blush, a bunch of lipsticks in no particular project, my one pressed powder, two glosses I'm panning, two eyeshadows I'm using as bronzer (I have no bronzer left!), and a highlighter I'm not specifically panning and one sample of highlighter I haven't actually opened yet. I think this is also my largest panning makeup basket if I can call it that, and it feels like a ton of makeup to me now that my stash size is getting quite a bit smaller. I really don't need more than this in terms of numbers. I do think eventually I'll get my eyeshadow and lipstick stash even smaller than it is today but it still feels like it's going to be a bit on those two. Empty!! This was the lip oil in the Kosas Gift set from Sephora. In the shade Unbuttoned is a soft warm blush. I enjoyed a lot this lip oil. I would consider buying this in the future. Battleship pans bonanza update!! I have some major developments since my last update - I've sunk two ships and figured out where the final hits are! @vgkmakeup and I started this project with ships of size 4, 3, 2, and 2. Since my last update, I found and sank both size 2 ships! So if you check out the second and third slide it's pretty obvious where the size 3 and 4 ships are at this point. Pan in every palette first update! This year, I had some new palettes, one that I bought myself and 3 that my sister decluttered to me and when I finished my first pan in every palette in 2019 I promised myself I would try to keep it up with any new palette that came into my life, preferably within the first year of having it. So here we are! I've hit pan on one of the palettes already! It's been my main focus palette this year so I've actually hit a ton of pans on it but I did manage to hit pan on the shade that I wanted to hit pan on which is great! I have used the other three palettes and I can see some dips, but I don't think I'm really close to pan in any of them yet. I've started picking those other 3 palettes up a bit more lately because my main project is starting to wind down. I might actually change my focus shade in the dior palette 🤔 but I'll leave this brown shade for now. I definitely think my next update will happen sooner than my first one haha, hopefully when I hit another pan! PTP update and some shades declutter. In mid-April, after over 2 months of using this palette, I decided to declutter shades: Cin Cin, Alfama and Soho. I like either very sparkly shadows or more creamy and metallic one for one-and-done look, and these shades were not it. Cin Cin and Soho were firmly pressed, quite dry and somewhat shiny + Soho was too warm for my liking, it was pulling more rose gold than brown on my fair, olive skin. Alfama was very satin and looked quiet powdery on eyelids. I repressed in their place 3 ND eyeshadows: • Cin Cin ➡️ Faye 279M • Alfama ➡️ Anjo 278M • Soho ➡️ Golden Flesh 68M Faye has similar colour, but is more sparkly. Anjo is more subtle metallic, great for smokey eye, winged liner or on and done look. Golden Flesh has normal metallic formula, I use it mainly in my outer corner. I started to realise that I don't like this palette as much as I once did and thought at the beginning of this project. It pulls too warm on my skin tone. Now I like the shimmers + I always liked turbopigment Dolce Vita, and I like mattes when it comes to the formula, but not so much the colour. I usually use this palette as a companion palette with different palettes/eyeshadows from my collection, that's why the progress is quite small after two months. Project rolling 10 pan update 🍳 📆 March & April I reached my goal on two products, technically. ✅Used up GS lipgloss after 23 uses but that's mainly because it expiration date was due to 03/2024, so my last use on it was mixing it with a foot mask, I didn't want to risk any allergic reaction. ✅ I will count UD hydromaniac foundation as an empty. I use it up to the marked line (04/2024) and declutter the rest of it after I noticed that the smell started to change a little. I had this product since 2022, so it makes sens. I have acne prone skin and I don't want to make my skin worse, especially after I managed to cleanse and rebuild it after acne inflammation. Some may call it cheating, but I was working so long on that foundation and used up a good amount, so I feel ok with that. Started using Rare Beauty mini highlighter more now, I can use it on my decolletage and arms. This month I want to work more on the GS liquid eyeshadow. • Mysecret mint liner: 3 total uses (actually embarrassing lol, I used it 2 this month on my waterline but there's no visual progress). • Miss Sporty lip liner: 11 uses (total: 14). Beat around the blush update! I haven't updated this project in a while, and some of my blush expired in the meanwhile so I had to declutter it. It should be all good now though! There's not a ton of items left to rotate into this rotation project. I'm not totally sure that I want to do a second round of it to get everything to 20 usages 😅 I have been really consistent in using the blushes in rotation but I only have 6 blushes left in my stash at this point after stuff expiring and I feel like I get the idea of how well I the lipsticks I put in this project work as blush with just a couple of usages. I have actually really enjoyed some of these lipsticks as blush though! I definitely want to try to reach for them more as blush in future. In this update, I'm rolling out two blushes I used 5 times. Unsurprisingly the 5x usages are going by the quickest, and then the blushes that get rolled in have the goal of the blush that rolled out, so I will be using them all at least 5 times each. Clean your pans finale! This was a project by @emilynmax that she came up with a few years ago to try to finish up things you hit pan on in a project but haven't gotten around to finishing yet, in other other half of the year from graveyard project pan. This time I finished a highlighter and had some time expire on me, oops! I've had a lot of stuff expiring this past year though so it wasn't just this stuff. The color corrector I'm still consistently using and mixing into my own undereye shade, and I'm pretty sure it'll end up getting finished this year whether it's in a project or not. I was very consistently using the lavender powder as a base eyeshadow shade but I've been focusing on other base eyeshadows lately for other projects. I'll definitely finish it at some point, but maybe not until next year. The teal eyeshadow didn't get a ton of usage this project, but again it ended up competing with another pretty similar teal matte that's in my current PTP. I do want to finish it in the nearish future, it's getting older and I think it's a reasonable shadow to try to empty because I love teals. March pan madness finale! This was a quick project by @panwithpippa where makeup competed for most number of usages. The brackets were old lipsticks, new lipsticks, favorite lipsticks, and least favorite lipsticks. Unsurprisingly the winner was one of my favorite lipsticks Mented Peach Please with 17 usages over the month of March! Second place was Thread Fiery with 8 usages over March. This is a rolling project pan by @emilynmax that goes until Halloween with two categories - items that have been collecting cobwebs in your stash, and items that were in other project pans you didn't hit your goal on that you're resurrecting for this project. It's one of my favorite projects! Here are my picks and goals: Collecting cobwebs: Fenty snake skin gloss - it has an interesting red/green duochrome in it and I never really have reached for it. It's also pretty old. (Goal: 15 usages) PMG lipstick - it's the last one I have left of a set of minis, which means there's a chance I could finish it if I really set my mind to it. This formula is super matte so I tend to mix it with gloss or more moisturizing lipsticks whenever I use them. (Goal: 15 usages) Sugarpill lipstick - this is a lipstick I only ever use as a mixing shade because it's so bright and my complexion is fairly muted. I love it though, orange is such a great makeup color but doesn't get nearly enough love and it basically makes anything I mix it with look more flattering on me as a warm olive. I don't reach for it enough, but I'm hoping this will jump-start me reaching for it more (Goal: 15 usages) Resurrection: Fenty vaycray gloss - it's soooo close to done. Very, veryyyy late #thatsso2000spp finale 😬🎉 Took this picture on April 20th, but forgot to post this several times + I was quiet busy during the last week of the month. This project was so much fun and it was a good way to rotate through my makeup collection. However, I'm doing two different projects this year - rolling 10 pan and pan that palette - and I think it's a bit too much for me to do three projects at the same time. Maybe next year I will do ptp and some themed project pan as my main one. Also, I realize that I don't really like the Fenty bronzer. It was my first cream bronzer, bought back in October/November 2020, so its getting old and I want to use it up completely. Battleship pans bonanza update! This is a project where I'm competing with @vgkmakeup to hit the battleships on my board. I'm in a pretty good spot on my board, I think I've hit at least one spot on each ship, though I haven't managed to sink any yet. I didn't wear any makeup for the last three weeks because I was sick, but before that I did still hit some pans since my last update, two of which were hits! At this point, I'm fairly certain of two spots that would be certain hits, because the three in a row that I have weren't a ship sunk so it must be the 4 spot ship. I also have a hit in a corner next to a splash so the other one must be a hit. I'm not sure if the corner one will be a 2 ship or 3 ship (there's one 4, one 3, and two 2 spot ships total). The most question marks are around the hits on the left side, both of which could be either 2 or 3 spot ships. I want to focus on some shades that I think would be more informative before the 'certain' ones to see where I should try to go with those other three shades that are maybes. The shade in the bottom left corner is also one of my favorites in the palette so far so I want to focus on it also because I've been enjoying it a lot. Hopefully I can get a pan by the next update, which is in like a couple weeks haha. I think I'm super close to pan in the top left corner but it's a shade that would certainly be a splash. But I'm tempted to try to pan it anyways because it is so close. This palette is very pannable so I've been enjoying panning it a lot so far. And I'm finally embracing neutrals, which has been interesting! Bronzer progress ✨ It’s been a minute! Last time I gave a bronzer update I said I was taking a break from this one, but that ended up not happening. Recently I’ve been using both of my barely three bronzers every time I do my makeup, just on different parts of my face. This is what I like to use on my forehead. And then most days I just use it everywhere else I applied my glowier bronzer to add a hint more umph. I know every time I say I’m finally trying a new bronzer and I never do, but I’m really thinking about the makeup by Mario skin enhancer. Zelda project pan update! I'm so behind on my updates I have 4 swaps 😅 and they're all a month old. But if you saw my life update a couple posts ago, I have been sick and not wearing makeup all month or posting anything so I'm just getting back into it now. I'm still working on a mascara and setting spray from before. All the eyeshadows were great, I'm trying to have some bright eyeshadows rolling through this project since my main project this year is battleship pans with a neutral palette. Here's the description of all of the prompts corresponding with my next picks (one of which I already finished and rolled out!): Hylian Shield - Pick an item that is dependable: Loading... coral eyeshadow is what I picked! It's basically my favorite eyeshadow shade, and I'm happy to use it in basically any look. Ancient bow - Pick one of your oldest items : This liquid balm is really old and it's basically a 'tinted lip oil' but I got it in 2018. I feel like it should probably be expired but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Here's hoping I don't start having issues during this project. Master sword - Pick your favorite item: I picked this lipstick that I'm pretty sure I've raved about enough, I've actually finished a whole one of these and repurchased it! It's a lovely brown-y peach shade, and on the desaturated side. Warm desaturated oranges and orange reds are probably the best lipstick shades for me in general. I already hit my goal on this one! Lizal boomerang - Pick an item you've repurchased at least once: I picked this peach corrector that I finished and repurchased once, though I've since realized yellow green is better for color correcting my undereye, and I just mix this shade with my own green concoction to bring it closer to a skintone shade. It's a great formula but unfortunately finding a light desaturated yellow green-leaning undereye concealer/corrector doesn't exist on the market in any formula so it's just me mixing up my own thing for now, ever since I figured it out. This one will be easy to hit goal on once I start wearing makeup again because I do undereye color correcting with basically every 'full eyeshadow' look.
Pan that palette first update! I wasn't sure if I would do a ptp this year because battleship pans seems like it's kind of enough, but since the palette I picked for that is neutrals, it made since to add some brights back in to my panning assortment. Since the intro, I hit pan on the peachy orange shade! It's probably my favorite shade in this palette so not too surprising. I have been working on the cyan pretty regularly and the rest of the shades less than that. I have been taking a makeup break while sick this past month so I'm not really sure what I want my goal to be next. They all kind of pair nicely with my warm neutrals. There used to be a grey in this palette but I gave it to my sister when we did a makeup exchange.
