The medicine of Fire is a really big part of my path. It always has been. My brother yesterday said to me, you were a rebel as a child. Full force. Nothing could stop you and you didn’t have fear. My mom has another story. She said I didn’t break a rule. Was kind and gentle. The sweetest energy to be around. This is my polarity. The fire and the sweet. Some years it pulls harder than others. Love is stepping into the mystery again and again. To never settle in the idea that I know completely who you are. Every day willing to discover more of you, more of me, more of us. To vow to the divinity in you. Love is to trust in that mystery while holding fierce boundaries that honor your tender parts and mine, bounderies that protect our hearts and allow love to keep flourishing. To choose love is to choose to see your greatness and the space that holds possibility, the space that unite us rather than separate us. To always be curious. There is no pure heart. That doesn’t exist. We all have good and bad inside. No matter what . So stop bullying yourself for the things you didn’t do right in the past. Stop looking for perfection where it does not supposed to exist. Acknowledge your darkness. Yes. Work on it. Give it space to express and exist in a healthy way. Yes. Make amendments. Yes. Loving your darkness and tending to it is the only way to see your light. Acknowledging your darkness gives you also a point of reference as to how far you have come in life, how much you have grown as a human being. Understanding that you are not supposed to be perfect, with a “pure” heart, indestructible; but just human. Living life giving space to all that you are is the key to free yourself from unattainable and stupid expectations in life. So please, love your perfect you, with shadow and light, it’s all you. And lovable.
