The delicate spiced flavour of the Biscoff paired really well with the milky taste of the ice cream & we loved the crunchy texture of the biscuits, alongside the ice cream. The double choc was the sweetest of the 3, but not at all overpowering & the little curls had a lovely cocoa flavour. Our favourite out of the trio had to be the Pistacho! There were a generous amount of nuts on top, which were crunchy & creamy & the rich Pistacho sauce had a mouthwatering nutty sweetness. 🧋 BT21 SPECIAL DRINKS - EARL GREY MOUSSE & BLUEBERRY MILKSHAKE, FROM @chatimeuk 🧋 - If you're a fan of BTS, then you need to head down to Chatime & check out their adorable BT21 themed merchandise & special drinks! The standard BT21 drink cups feature the super cute characters, based on the BTS members, but they also sell a sturdy colour changing reusable cup & mystery loot pin badges. If you order a Chatime BT21 drink, you'll receive a DISCOUNT on your merchandise purchase & you can also use Chatime points in the app to buy the exclusive cup & badges. • Yesterday, we popped down to our local Portsmouth branch to try out the new specials. The cafe had a relaxing atmosphere, was incredibly clean & the staff were so friendly. • BT21 EARL GREY MOUSSE: If the options are available, we also pick less ice & less sugar for our drinks & this is how we ordered this one. Even with less ice the drink was wonderfully cold & refreshing & had a well balanced sweetness. The Earl Grey flavour was bold, which we loved & paired well with the thick rich mousse on top. We picked an additional mix in of pudding, which had a lovely gelatinous texture & delicate creamy taste. • BT21 BLUEBERRY MILKSHAKE: This purple shake was absolutely divine. We're always drawn to fruity drinks, so we were very excited to try this & it didn't disappoint. The milkshake had a thicker consistency & was much more indulgent compared to the Earl Grey drink. It contained a generous amount of satisfyingly chewy tapioca pearls on the bottom & was bursting with a sweet berry flavour. - We highly recommend these specials! The cups are super cute & personally we can't pick a favourite between these drinks as they're very different (refreshing vs rich), so we highly recommend ordering either one or both! 📍 The Bird in Hand ✨ Lovedean ✨ @thebirdlovedean For Mother’s Day we fancied a Sunday Roast and The Bird in Hand delivered! The beef was very tender and was accompanied with roast potatoes, parsnip, carrot, swede and cabbage (hiding under the meat). We go crazy for cauliflower cheese so just had to order a portion on the side. For dessert we had rhubarb and ginger cheesecake which was lovely and a peanut butter brownie. Unfortunately the brownie was a little dry and more cakey but still good as you can’t go wrong with chocolate! WOW, we’ve found our new favourite brunch spot 🤩 📍 Copnor Kitchen ✨ Portsmouth ✨ @copnorkitchen The food looks and tastes amazing. The staff were super friendly. The coffee was perfect. The design and layout of the cafe was really nice. I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. We were ✨influenced ✨ by their Instagram pictures so couldn’t wait to visit. The food looks just as good in person. There were sooooo many choices on the menu, we went for ‘The Chimney Sweep’ and ‘The Southsea’ with added bacon. Both meals were equally delicious with perfectly poached, gooey eggs. The Southsea had a little garlicky, chilli hit with their chimichurri and it just topped it off. We will 100% be returning soon to try their other dishes. 🍕 PIZZA PARADISE PORTSMOUTH🍕 @pizza_paradise101 There is a new pizza place recently opened in the heart of North End, Portsmouth @pizza_paradise101 so I was keen to try it out as pizza is my absolute favorite and I'm always on the look out for new local pizza places. I went for.... 🍕 Large Pepperoni Feast 🍕 Chicken Goujons 🍕 Oreo Milkshake 🍕 Garlic & Herb Dip The first thing I noticed about the pizza was the distinct lack of grease. Normally when I get a pizza the box has absorbed lots of grease at the bottom and the pizza is oily but this one whilst still having plenty of toppings was nice and light and it didn't leave me feeling bloated and sluggish afterwards. The owners ensured their dough recipe was spot on whilst being organic and including no chemicals 👏 The chicken goujons came with a delicious BBQ sauce and were the perfect side. Pizza Paradise has an extensive menu with lots of different sides to suit everybodys tastes including veggie options. The garlic and herb dip was delicious and the pots are massive too which is always a win as I love to dunk my crusts! The decor is modern & welcoming and the location is perfect with views of the river at @gunwharfquays They have a fully stocked bar which specialises in craft beers & cocktails, we opted for some mocktails🍸 For food we both shared a selection of dishes from their extensive menu... ⭐️Paneer Tikka Naan Sliders ⭐️Samosa Chaat ⭐️Butter Chicken ⭐️Beer Battered Bhajis ⭐️Mixed Grill (comes with salad & chips) ⭐️Pilau Rice ⭐️Garlic Naan The food was absolutely gorgeous, my personal favourite was the mixed grill as it meant we got a selection of meats & also got to try lots of different options & discover new flavours. Georgia had never tried paneer before but we both absolutely loved the paneer naan sliders, they came fully loaded & were the perfect starter. A special mention to the beer battered bhajis, they were HUGE and lovely & crispy too. This new restaurant is a great addition to @gunwharfquays as you can enjoy delicious Indian food but in modern boujee surroundings, the perfect place to visit after a day's shopping or before a night out.
