Ok, story time/farm mystery 🤔 If you’ve been here you know Dawson’s geese are a$$h0les 😣😂 I have a love hate relationship with them because I loved them before they turned into guard geese. They bonded to both Dawson and me when they were little. Well last Monday night Dan came home and asked if the geese finally pissed me off for the last time?? They hadn’t….he then proceeds to tell me they are at the barn!!??! Our barn with just cows is NOT near the house. See the pic of photo. Photo is from 2004 so the shed wasn’t built yet and a few things are different. I walk to the barn all the time taking the lane way path across the farm. We have NO idea how the geese managed to get there though!. At the time there was a mean cow with her calf in a pen that went across the laneway by the calving corral. There’s no way they would have gotten by her. There are fences (electric and barbed) all through the farm that they would have had to gotten through. If they made it to the main pond, we’re pretty sure they would have stayed there. No one has fessed up to taking them there, which would have been a big job trying to catch them! They are still at the barn and locked in most of the time as it’s right at the road. When out, they haven’t made their way back to the house yet. This does solve the problem of them shi!!ing on my porch and I’m sure Pepper loves that they aren’t here!! He wasn’t impressed seeing them at the barn either.
