It`s a wrap! Our first ever headline tours, namely the "Aus Stein Geschlagen" Tour and the "Epische Ouver-Tour" are over. 9 headline shows and 4 festivals in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. It has been an epic journey which provided many fantastic memories for the future and lots of great emotions. If we look back on this adventure we feel joy, happiness and we are still stunned by your overwhelming support during these shows! These shows have been the most extensive and energetic ones we have done so far and oh boy that feels absolutely amazing! We are sad that it is over for now but we are sure that we will return with new headline shows in the future! We want to thank the amazing bunch of support bands that have been with us during this great adventure! These people nailed it every single night, playing their hearts out and giving their absolute best to deliver an amazing show. We love you guys and girls! It's like a wildfire of danceable beats with lyrics that caution you of the dangers of passion. It's layers of synths and vibrant kicks keeps the track lively and engaging; for me it's hard to keep still while listening to this and I'd say it has definite potential to become a floorfiller at the clubs over the spring and summer and promises a lot of good stuff for the upcoming album. If you like songs like Obscured by Hocico&Blutengel or Grendel's Timewave Zero, you should absolutely give Alienare's Fire a chance. German medieval-rockers Tanzwut are back with new music, first new single is the titular song from the upcoming album Achtung Mensch (out in August with a tour in Germany in Autumn). It's heavy, it's melodic and wraps you in a beautiful mix of bagpipes and intense drumwork that provides a great leadup to Teufels rough vocals and the brilliant guitarwork on the main parts. I absolutely love the bagpipe and drum solo, it's so good. This is definitely a brilliant choice for a first single and bodes well for the album itself. Single-review: Soulbound - Saint Sinner "Let me just send you to Heaven...." Soulbound are back! After the massive success with 2020's album Addicted To Hell the guys from Bielefeld are now (finally) back in the ring with a new heavy track. Saint Sinner is a strong track about accepting your own duality and embracing all of oneself - it's full of vibrant synths, some well placed sound-samples, crunchy riffs and a perfect blend of gritty and clean vocals. It's catchy and heavy enough to headbang to but you can also dance to it if you fancy. The production quality is extremely high which is hardly a surprise when you learn who the team behind are (hint: yet again Chameleon Studios and Chris Harms has a hand in this, just like the last best-seller). The new single is the first taste of the upcoming album ObsYdian which will be out this summer and it leaves a very promising impression for what's ahead. Single-review: SANZ - Demons | The Truth "Wake me up, is anybody out there?" "Feels like I'm holding on to you.." Modern dark-rockers SANZ are back with a brand new single, this one is a double-feature called Demons | The Truth. Demons: Dark and richly melancholic in vibe we're here presented with a mix of heavy riffs, raw synth and both meloduous and distorted vocals providing a great mix of industrial and dark rock. It's catchy, gritty and has some amazing instrumentals and will have you banging your head. The Truth: Right off the bat we're hit with soaring synths and clean vocals that pulls you in and keeps building until we hit the chorus which is melodic and vibey. The song has a heavy melancholy to it that is almost addicting and even danceable thanks to the melody. Both tracks have some wonderful guitar-solos too. The two tracks seems to kind of reflect eachother, like they're in a way 2 sides of the same coin. Both tracks are extremely well-produced, no one thing overshadows the other so everything flows well together. Deeply emotional and striking, they herald the new times of SANZ and hold big promises for the future. Definitely all killer no filler, though I personally lean a little bit more towards the Demons side of the double-feature. If you like both synthwave, industrial and rockmusic with dark lyrics you may want to give these guys a try. Album-review: Hell Boulevard - REQUIEM REQUIEM is Hell Boulevards fourth album and already from the opening bars of the first track, it immediately demands attention. With lyrics touching on various subjects from love & loss to social issues, this little masterpiece has something for everyone; from catchy danceable bops and classic rock-vibes to an emotional ballad - REQUIEM has it all! The quality and production of the 10 songs is top-notch, then again, I personally wouldn't expect any less from the people involved. Whilst the main bulk of the album was created by leadsinger Matteo Fabbiani, certain songs also got input from other sources while producer Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost) and the other good people at Chameleon Studios Hamburg ensured that the new songs got taken to their finest production level when mixing & mastering. It's ear-candy all around and an absolute treat to listen to both on headphones and loudspeaker. The new album is bombastic, energetic and emotional. We get huge orchestrals and crunchy synths mixed with heavy riffs, rich cleans and some deeply impressive growls and it's almost like each new listen makes you discover something new. It definitely promises to reel in both new and old fans of the bands - I was told this was probably going to be their best record yet and I wholeheartedly agree with that statement. In conclusion: if you're into gothrock with an edge, like to headbang, love some bombast in your music or enjoy exploring big feelings - this album is for you.
