Outside of the short passing game, the offense didn’t do much Quarterbacks: •11v11s: Jacoby Brissett (5/6), Bailey Zappe (1/1), Drake Maye (2/3) •7v7s: Jacoby Brissett (4/8), Bailey Zappe (2/4), Drake Maye (4/4), Joe Milton III (4/4) More practice notes: •In drills today, the order for the QBs was: Brissett-Zappe-Maye-Milton •Larger emphasis on the passing game today, play action more specifically •Lots of work on footwork for the QBs today •Brissett was the most consistent QB. Maye looked good deep, but was inconsistent underneath. Zappe was shaky after warm ups. Milton was generally up and down •In 7s both Drake Maye and Joe Milton threw a nice football on a comeback route •During 7v7s, Jacoby Brissett tried to see if Austin Hooper could win a jump ball up the seam with Kyle Dugger. It was all Dugger, who bodied Hooper for a nice PBU •Antonio Gibson mixed in a healthy amount in his first practice with the team. His athleticism stands out in the OTA setting •KJ Osborn had a drop today •Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker are primarily repping with the rookie QBs.
