Η καθημερινή φροντίδα ενός νεογέννητου είναι το Α και το Ω για την υγεία του και την χαλάρωση του. Μετά το «πέσιμο» του ομφαλού του είμαστε σε θέση να του κάνουμε το πρώτο του μπανάκι. Έτσι και εγώ επέλεξα το πιο βολικό μπανάκι @shnuggle ειδικά σχεδιασμένο για νεογέννητα. Το παίρνω μαζί μου σε όποιο δωμάτιο με βολεύει και κάνω το μπανάκι του με ασφάλεια. Μαζί με το μπανάκι προμηθεύτηκα το κύπελλο με το μαλακό στόμιο ώστε μεγαλώνοντας να το λούζω εύκολα, αλλά και το αστεράκι που ανάβει μόλις πέσει στο νερό ώστε να ασχολείται με αυτό και να βλέπει τη διαδικασία του μπάνιου ως διασκέδαση! Splish splash splosh! 🤩 Bathing is an important task in new born baby care. In my native we used to call expert old ladies to do the new born bathing for first 2-3 weeks. But due to this pandemic we were afraid to call somebody from outside to bath kuttan. So me and Achu decided to do it ourselves. We read many articles, watched n number of youtube videos on new born baby bathing before we started. It wasn't an easy task in the initial days.. But we did it.. Now I became a pro in bathing babies😝 Here is few tips for new born bathing from my own experience. 1.Wait until your babies umblical cord falls off. Kuttan's first bath was on his 7th day. Till then we just wiped him in warm water with cotton cloth. 2. Lay baby on a neat and flat surface. 3. Feed your baby 30 Min before the bath.This have few benefits. Baby won't cry out of hunger, he /she will be happy through out the bath. We can put them on sleep right after the bath. 4. Be ready with your supplies. Warm water, Coconut oil, Baby Soap, Shampoo, Towel etc 5. Oil massage your baby before the bath. We made some coconut oil at home for Kuttan. And using that for his everyday bath. Then let him lie-down in the oil for 10 to 20 min. 6. First pour water in baby's foot. It will send a messge to their brain regarding the temperature . So their body will be ready to accept the sudden temperature change. 7. Sing a song or talk to your baby throught the bath. They will start enjoying the bathing sessions. 8. Give extra care to face and ears.. Dont pour water directly. Just clean them with wet hands or wet cotton cloths. 9. Clean babies ears and nose with soft wet towels to remove ear wax and nasal mucus 10. Finally Pat dry for 5-to 10 min with a clean-dry towel. Their private areas should be dry before putting the diapers. 11. Be gentle in each and every step.Dont press or squeeze any body part of your baby. Not all you hear from elders is true! For eg.pressing baby's nose to get a nice sharp nose or squeeze the milk out of baby's breast other wise it will became saggy in the future etc. All this might cause infections and irritation. 12. Do what your heart says🥰 and listen to your baby😀
