Years ago I read the Telos book series by Aurelia Louise Jones. In volume 1 she shared about the cataclysmic event that led to the fall of Lemuria. In her account, she describes the priests and priestesses of Lemuria being unable to stop the event from occurring. Self love is such a trendy concept right now but what does it actually mean? For me, it’s been a commitment to self-acceptance when I would have chosen self-abandonment in the past. I’ve been contemplating the 31st Gene Key this past week which is in the sphere of my life’s work. The shadow is arrogance, the gift is leadership and the Siddhi is humility. I’m also a line 3 which is known as the changer. What I’ve discovered is that whenever I feel “sure” about something and my ego wants the win, life will humble me over and over again. Every time I think it’s this it’s not that and I’m back to the drawing board. It’s not always easy, but the path of leadership isn’t about getting it right. It’s about falling on your face and modeling what it looks like to get back up and share the wisdom you accumulated from the fall. That’s where the self acceptance and self love come in.
