A lot of you often ask what happens with everything I shoot and here's the answer, we either eat it fresh or vac pack it and fill the freezer. The vac packers are fantastic and I'd highly recommend them!! If our freezers are full and we don't keep it for ourselves then it goes to the game dealers, nothing is ever wasted!! It's not very often I get the opportunity to shoot geese inland over decoys as most my goose shooting is done on the foreshore so now that an opportunity has risen I'm certainly excited for it!! Iv got a recently drilled winter barley field which was an old potato field, the geese are coming into the field for the potatoes but at the same time doing massive damage to the barley so they need to be moved off. They were on the field this morning, left about midday and then came back for a second feed this afternoon.
