Bringing a hand drawn sketch to life to help my clients visualise the chimney breast and alcove joinery in our Barnes project. Currently the TV is on the wall over the fireplace but these two black rectangles together do not make an attractive focal point. Moving the TV to the side and adding joinery to display their lovely book collection, allows us to create a more elegant feature out of the chimney breast and means that the TV no longer dominates the room. 🎊 The next step will be to produce precise joinery drawings for the joiner to work from when making the units. But which would you go for? The mirror or the painting?
