It is crazy, in two days it will be seven weeks since I broke my collarbone snowboarding. This little goblin mug is the the only piece I made in that time. It was extremely difficult with my dominant arm strapped down in a sling to wheel throw and sculpt from start to finish with just my left hand. I am so excited to get back to normal creative time now that my doctor gave me the green light to remove the sling. I broke my collarbone on Sunday while snowboarding so unfortunately I have not been able to work on anything since. Luckily, I glazed a few pieces and loaded the kiln on Saturday. He looks good but I need to re-fire this one. I tried a new glaze on the inside, it is a sweet iron red that looks like a dark dry blood color but it has a lot of glaze cracking/glaze crazing.
