Sharing this mini-comic that I made for the FREAKLORE zine compiled and facilitated by @magik_press (available in their web shop in black and white and in deluxe color - a collection of many artists of different medias and narratives) The hazel wood foliage behind is added for Instagram image limitations. This mini-comic inspired by my reading and knowing of folklore that I’ve collected over the past 7 years that tell of the Fae, the Good Folk, the Faeries of Ireland. Being in rural Ireland re-introduced the presence of this otherworldliness within my periphery, and coming into my Queerness since last being here has changed my perception of the Fae and makes their world more enticing.
