Dort beobachtet er den kleinen Vogel und die Ente, und er sieht, wie sich eine Katze anschleicht. Peter warnt den kleinen Vogel, der rettet sich auf den Baum. Großvater kommt aus dem Haus und schimpft, weil Peter die Gartenpforte offen gelassen hat. „Das ist gefährlich. Wenn nun der Wolf aus dem Wald kommt, was dann?“ Er nimmt Peter mit zurück in den Garten und macht die Gartenpforte fest zu. Da kommt der Wolf. Alice taff, verletzlich, witzig. Und diese Abenteuer...alles war möglich. Und irgendwie war es geheimnisvoll, es gab,ergab einen verborgenen Sinn. Jedes Chaos hat ein leuchtendes Fleckchen Ordnung. Die Geschichte war so ungewöhnlich. Heute würde ich sagen: Bewusstseinserweiternd.

Lovely Wizard of Oz, illustrated by Frans Haacken published by Ravensburger in 1975 Hascken's illustrations are again full of charm & wit: 1: cover: Tin Man, Dorothy, Toto & Scarecrow 2: "Dorothy's tears grieved the kind-hearted Munchkins, & they took out their handkerchiefs & began to weep also. As for the little old woman, she took off her cap & balanced the point on the end of her nose. At once the cap changed to a slate, on which was written in big, white chalk marks: "LET DOROTHY GO TO THE CITY OF EMERALDS" The Wizard appears in different forms: 3: As a giant head to Dorothy 4: As a beautiful fairy to Scarecrow 5: As a horrible monster to Tin Man 6: As a ball of fire to Lion 7: The Tin Man discovers that Oz is no Wizard, but a simple man. Tin Man has a kettle for his head, clothes irons for his feet, & a canister with a spigot placed in an appropriate place 8: "Now, the Wicked Witch of the West had but only one eye, yet this eye was as strong and powerful as a telescope, & could see everywhere". She wears a dress with spiders, her silver whistle, & the Golden Cap of power with precious stones circling it. She sends the Flying Monkeys to catch Dorothy 9: The witch tricks Dorothy out of one of her silver shoes. Angered, Dorothy throws a bucket of water at the witch. The water causes the witch to dissolve away like "brown sugar" 10: The Hammer-Heads are short, with no arms at all. Their necks are very long like elastic, stretching out like an accordion. Alice muses as she falls down the rabbit hole 3: Alice with a ponytail like a good East German girl, shrinks after drinking 4: The wonderfully dripping animals, Mouse has underwear 5: A huge Caterpillar & a not very fat Father William 6: A very ancient Duchess, with a coronet & beautiful jewelry cradles her baby, while a sweet- natured cat watches the Cook 7: The most lively (and rather mature) baby 8: Hatter with side whiskers pours tea on poor dormouse 9: The Duchess has wonderful bags under the eyes & superb jewelry. (Unbezahlte Werbung )Peter und der Wolf - .⠀ Wer kennt das musikalische Märchen von #Sergejprokofjiew nicht oder eher gesagt, wer hat es nicht im Musikunterricht durchgenommen?😀⠀ .⠀ .⠀ Im Mittelpunkt des Märchens steht Peter, der die Sprache der Tiere versteht und sich gemeinsam mit den Tieren vor dem Wolf retten kann. Die Menschen und Tiere des Märchens werden musikalisch durch Instrumente dargestellt. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ In der #DDR wurde es 1958 zum „schönsten Buch des Jahres“ gewählt und seit 2017 kann man dieses beeindruckende Buch, in unverändert Form, wieder im Verlag Beltz & Gelberg kaufen. Auch wenn die Erstauflage etwas zurückliegt, hat das Buch nichts von seinem Zauber verloren. Seine stillen aber eindrucksvollen Illustrationen wurden von #Franshaacken gezeichnet und lassen jeden tiefer in die Geschichte eintauchen.⠀ Hätten wir damals schon in der Schule so schöne Arbeitsblätter gehabt, hätte ich das Märchen bestimmt noch spannender gefunden.⠀ .⠀ . ⠀ Ein kleiner Tipp: so wie im Original kann man die klassische Musik von Peter und der Wolf einfach zum Lesen dazu hören.
