In a few days it will have been 7 excruciatingly long months without you baby boy and not a second has gone by where we don't think about you. 7 months of torture knowing you aren't here as you should be, 7 months of agonising pain... 💔 Today as a family we held a memorial in Theo's honour, we planted a Nashiki Salix tree by his memory bench and we all laid some beautiful memorial plaques and flowers for him from each of us. Being in the garden always brings us comfort, we go as often as we can and now having a few things around that are for him just makes us feel even closer to him. Yesterday we said goodbye to the best little girl in the entire world. Layla was 14 when she left us and had the best life we could have imagined for her. When we were pregnant with Emmett we were having his name letters done in woodland creatures like Conners. But when Emmett died I contacted my friend Chelsea and canceled the order, I didn’t want her to waist time painting woodland creatures that wouldn’t be hung in the nursery. But after a few days I kept thinking, I want his name too. But I want something special to be hung since he’s not with us. So she customized each letter with something special for us. His name w/ an angel wing, a back to the future scene, clouds, a lil Reptar, a cardinal w/ his birth information and his birth month flowers(roses) in his birthstone color. She’s amazing with her art and the time and effort she put into making something beautiful for us. She has done so many things for us craft wise. So if anyone needs anything customized she’s your girl. She has made our decals for our cars, Conners Superman 1 for his party, numerous decorations I have in my house and different holiday decor as well.
