🌎Top of the World!🍁 This is an easy 3.5km “lollipop” route located in Whiteshell Provincial Park. 📍Treaty No. 3 The trail starts at the @falcontrails parking lot and follows a moderate climb for its first portion before joining a rocky and rooty loop. There is really good signage at the trailhead and the route is easy to follow. Alltrails will get you to the correct spot! There is plenty of room in the parking lot, and a basic pit toilet if needed. Also @owlwingcafe is open year around if you are looking for a refuel post-hike! There are MANY options to add distance and difficulty to hiking Falcon Trails as there is a very well kept network of trails, thanks to @ryan_the_groomer as they are always in top form. Highly recommend golden hour for this one 🌅 as pretty as the pictures are, they don’t do it justice! Had a perfect birthday with my Dad out at the lake. We discovered the Owl Wing café at the Falcon Trails resort, which has specialty coffee from a Winnipeg company Little Sister and has a gorgeous view of Falcon Lake.
