Celandine poppy, also known as wood poppy, is very similar in appearance to greater celandine, a member of the poppy family that’s native to Europe. Lesser celandine (just to make things even more confusing) is another yellow flower with no relation to either; lesser celandine is a member of the ranunculus family. —- In the past, celandine poppy was used to treat warts and soothe upset stomach. However, the safety of doing so is unclear. —- Magically, celandine poppy supports happiness and fights depression. It’s a lucky plant, particularly for those facing legal battles or escaping from difficult circumstances.
