We’ve been closed for 2 days whilst Good Omens have been filming outside and right next door to us. Who knows, maybe our favourite flower shop will make a little appearance in series 2 (hopefully not at a point where I was putting a chocolate biscuit in my mouth) 🤞 The good news is that we reopen tomorrow morning with a stand that is fuller than full of fresh flowers. We’ve spent the last few days wreathing like crazy! Viktorija made this beautiful wreath today. It’s made of mixed foliages - including pine, eucalyptus, holly, cupressus and ozothalmus, decorated with pine cones and dried fruit. After much back and forth we have finally managed to get a delivery of the finest work from Nepali silversmiths. All of it had to be selected by WhatsApp, made in Nepal, shipped to Shantanu in Jaipur and finally exported to Edinburgh with the kind help of our friend Mahir. It took some time, but I am proud to show off the amazing skill set of Nepali silver smiths, using traditional Turquoise and Coral as well as other semi precious stones such as moonstone, labradorite, garnet and amethyst. I spent the weekend at Ocean Terminal Market where I shared my passion for hand lettering. I met some lovely people with a special mention to Tania the event organiser Ocean Terminal Market who was super welcoming and caring making sure everything was fine. And a special mention to the lovely ladies from @lunarmelts who are not only super friendly, they also have amazing products (vegan, eco friendly and with no nasty chemicals❤️) which look and smell fabulous. I bought 3 of their scoopable wax melts and I tried one ("bedtime bath") as soon as I came home and it smells so lovely. Go and check them out 😍.
