Not only was the original wiring an absolute mess, it was extremely hazardous. This boat came lacking fuse blocks, and had everything directly wired to the batteries. Fuse blocks are incredibly important and a very necessary component on your boat. They provide a fail safe for your electrical system that helps prevent electrical fires and protect your electronics. As part of this cleanup we replaced 2 batteries, replaced the battery charger, added in a fuse block, and properly routed the electrical channels so this customer will be safe on the water! A great way to wrap up the week by sending home a great friend and clients boat. We are wishing @capn_pete a successful Tarpon season as he and his Maverick head back down to Islamorada for a packed schedule of guiding! It’s always an honor to have anyone make a 6+ hour drive because they know their boat will be done the right way. This Maverick had a fiberglass fuel tank that started leaking. We were able to outfit it with a new custom aluminum tank, WITHOUT cutting out the floor!
