🍳Our interpretation of a Calcifer-style breakfast~ There is an exhibit inside Ghibli Park’s Grand Warehouse that is dedicated to all the food in the films; a core component for me as a viewer. It was so amazing to look through the cabinets of Dola’s kitchen from Castle in the Sky, sit at the Spirited Away buffet bar and pretend to eat the big juicy chickens that turn parents into piggies, and see the incredible hand-drawn slides that showcase how many layers it takes to create the rich and gorgeous textures of Calcifer’s bacon and eggs that we get in the final production🎞️✨🔮 After buying a loaf from Kiki’s bakery🥖 and feeling so inspired by Howl’s ~actual~ dining room, I thought it would be so so so fun to create our own magical and messy table. We found so many shark teeth in Venice, but this guy was my favorite. I grabbed some jewelry wire and wrapped this teeny tiny tooth, turning it into a charm. I should have snapped a shot of it on my finger, but it sold as fast as I listed it. I did add a faceted ball chain and it was just as cute as could be. Since it did well, I’m thinking of adding wrapped Florida shark teeth necklaces to the shop as a regular part of our inventory. I need to find my jewelry tools though.
