Conversion from type 1 to type 3 forehead reduction for revision brow bone surgery as part of revision facial feminization surgery. This patient previously had a type 1 brow bone reduction (shaving only) and still had a small residual brow prominence. She was hoping for a smoother forehead with even less brow prominence. These types of revision brow bone surgeries can often be more difficult due to the prior operation. The bone is thinner in potentially critical areas and the techniques for reduction need to be modified slightly. Although the results from this exact case are relatively subtle, a type 3 conversion can provide more dramatic results in patients who still have a prominent brow ridge after previously undergoing a type 1 forehead reduction. Polydontia in Tessier Craniofacial cleft number 7 may be due to a distinct syndrome involving accessory maxilla and transverse facial cleft. It is proposed that in the deep tissue between the embryonic maxilla and deficient mandible, late compensatory mesenchymal growth from the embryonic temporal bone penetrated the region before the ectoderm fully broke down. This mesodermal growth, covered by ectoderm, likely formed the tooth germs in the accessory maxillae. Ms Tejdeep Kaur Menon @tejdeepkaurmenon, IPS officer, wrote a touching poem for cleft children at @gsr_hospital. Tejdeep, a 1983 cadre IPS officer, has had a distinguished career, rising from Assistant Superintendent of Police to her current role as Director General of Police with the Telangana State Special Protection Force (TSSPF) and Commissioner of the Government Printing and Stationery Departments. She is the first woman to be appointed DIG of Police in her state. A strong advocate for women’s rights, she has published four poetry anthologies focused on women’s empowerment and nature conservation. Her legendary efforts to save Ameenpur lake included mobilizing TSSPF personnel and local NGOs, petitioning officials, and educating communities, leading to the lake’s designation as India’s first Biodiversity Heritage Site.
